Another horse update

20th November

Our Exmoor Foal! (no idea why we want TWO Exmoors - one is bad enough! LOL :-)

Farleywater Siren, is a filly about six months old and has come straight off  Exmoor - we've had her two weeks now, and she is an absolute sweetheart.
(No we didn't take her from the moors! The owners - Exmoor Farmers - round up all the wild ponies once a year to check them over, and find homes for the colts and a few fillies, this is because the Moor cannot sustain too many ponies.)

The Exmoor Pony is classed as a rare breed and is in danger of extinction - hence some of us are keen to preserve the breed. There are several strictly monitored herds on Exmoor. Both our ponies are from the Farleywater Herd - which isn't far from Doone Valley.

and so he doesn't feel left out - Mr Mischief, our 12 year old Exmoor.

Butter wouldn't melt in his mouth!

Thank you for leaving a comment your interest is very much appreciated! It will be published as soon as possible - depending on whether I am at my computer or walking up the lane, or being chased by the goose or helping mend fences after the pony has broken through YET AGAIN.... :-)
