    Been there, done that. My step-father kept Quarter Horses; barrel racing, calf roping, et al.

      We were too tired to eat much, just had egg on toast - and we slept late the next day (though son-in-law got up to feed the horses & I let the ducks and geese out at about 7.30 a.m.... then we went back to bed!
