we had a bit of a thunderstorm the other day - lots of flashing & crashing....
but then it passed and....
look what happened next.... a beautiful rainbow!
unfortunately, the storm came back just as we had finished dinner. We were in the dining room when crackle, snap pop.... there was a flash, a bang, and all our lights went out. All the electricity with it.
Fortunately I knew where the candles and lanterns were...
Within the hour the electricity board were round though, checking all the whatever it is they check.... it seemed that the next village along had taken a hit & everything had shorted.
We soon had power again though.
