Marvelous! So much fun to watch. The side saddle ride seems a bit scary. I learned to ride with an English saddle and double rein in college, but never side saddle. Those ladies are very brave!
Thank you for leaving a comment your interest is very much appreciated! It will be published as soon as possible - depending on whether I am at my computer or walking up the lane, or being chased by the goose or helping mend fences after the pony has broken through YET AGAIN.... :-) Helen

ReplyDeleteSide saddle is possibly more secure than riding aside - its the jumping that scares me. Mind you, at 17.2 Lexie is so big the jumps look quite small.
DeleteI don't know about riding horses. I can say he looks like a beautiful horse.
ReplyDeleteThank you - 'he' is a she though :-)
Delete"Bravo, Lexie." And certainly, "Bravo, Kathy." I enjoyed watching both 'girls' performing so valiantly.
ReplyDeleteThanks Inge - they are off again tomorrow to the same venue for the Royal International Horseshow!
