  2. Hi Helen. I'm afraid that I didn't agree with your current quote of the month: investment don't mean money, but effort, spirit, heart.

  3. I aggree with you BUT too many SP writers do not realise that to produce a book it costs money. Time & again I hear "Oh I can't afford an editor" or "I can't afford to pay a proper designer" so they self-edit (and make a mess of it) or get a family member to paint a cover ... I'm just as guilty! My first forey into SP was a mess. The editing was not as sharp as it should have been and the cover was so amatuer - the whole thing screamed poor quality.
I now invest a lot financially into my books on good editing and cover design, and it shows
(mind you the editing still managed to get messed up in Ripples In The Sand, which was my fault because I rushed production. Lesson learnt.)

  4. My two cats have a similar story to yours in that they seem to lead solitary lives and are not keen on one another. Winter time is the only time they would be inside together and then they usually fight over a particular spot on the mat in front of the fire! Loved your piece. Thank you for leaving a comment your interest is very much appreciated! It will be published as soon as possible - depending on whether I am at my computer or walking up the lane, or being chased by the goose or helping mend fences after the pony has broken through YET AGAIN.... :-)
